Troy brings over 22 years of hotel experience; starting his hospitality career in High school as a front desk representative with AmeriHost Inn (Kimberly & Green Bay, Wisconsin). While attending college he worked guest services, and an internship with Marriott, also at that time worked with a national airline as a ground security (yes, one of the guys with the orange lights directing aircraft). After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a B.A. of Science – Business Administration, he became a general manager of an extended stay property in Madison Wisconsin.
Troy has managed a diverse portfolio of lodging types including: limited service, extended stay properties, independent resort, and upscale, and has extensive experience of various brands. He has lead his hotels teams to be recognized in various brands elite statuses. In 2016 Troy earned his CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Troy’s specialties are in; operations, cost control, premium guest services, staff motivation, empowerment, and fostering teamwork throughout all departments.
